Some of the standard features:
KIER The
kier is designed and constructed to ASME code requirements from type 316
stainless steel, assuring a long and productive life. The interior
of the machine is easily accessible for inspection and maintanance
through the hinged manway on one end of each machine. Buildup of
dyes and chemicals on interior surfaces of the kier is minimized by an
automatically operated internal spray system, reducing the frequency of
expensive boil-outs.
LIQUOR CIRCULATION
The pump, heat exchanger,
filter, and jet are carefully engineered for ideal liquor
circulation. Working together they provide high fabric/dyebath
interchange as well as smooth transport of fabric from the lifter reel,
through the jet, to the back of the chamber. This ensures high
quality dyeing performance and enhances fabric circulation. |
LINT FILTER
A cartridge type
lint filter is standard and is usually adequate for normal
operation. If a change in product mix makes additional filtering
capacity necessary, the Gastons feature a standard piping system design
so the optional self-cleaning filter can be easily installed without
expensive repiping.
HEAT EXCHANGER
Heating or
cooling of the dyebath is achieved indirectly and efficiently with a
rugged shell and tube heat exchanger, sized to deliver the rate of
temperature change required by the normal dye process. If process
conditions make it necessary, an optional high capacity heating and
cooling system is available. All heat exchangers are designed and
built to ASME code standards with T-316 stainless steel tubes. |
